Alexis Morante is an award-winning film, music video, and commercial director. He is based between Los Angeles and Andalusia, Spain. Alexis has worked with some of the biggest personalities in the Latin music industry, including Alejandro Sanz, Enrique Bunbury, and David Bisbal, directing four feature music documentaries that have been theatrically released in more than 15 countries.
Alexis won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Music Film in 2019 and has been nominated three times for a Goya Award (Spanish Academy Awards), Platino Award (Latin Academy Awards), and one more Latin Grammy Award. Alexis’ work has won more than 100 international awards and has been officially selected for over 300 international film festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand.
His commercial and branded work has featured some of the biggest Spanish figures, including Rafa Nadal, Andrés Iniesta, Pau Gasol, and Fernando Alonso includes campaigns for clients like Coca-Cola, ONCE and Spain’s National Tourism Office.
Recently, Morante premiered his first feature film, the coming-of-age 'El Universo de Óliver'. He has also just finished shooting a fictional biopic about urban music superstar Ozuna in the Caribbean and USA.
